Hi guys

I have a ecotech radion , can you give me your feedback and observations concerning "storm mode".
beyond the cool look and freaking out the fishes when you have friends at home , what is the positive side of the storm mode on corals and clams ?

thanks

Adds absolutely no benefits at all.
That actually stresses the fish.

One of the many features that is for you! :) The corals are really just after the blue and white emitters. ;)

You only have to walk in and flip on the lights in the morning and hear the fish jump and hit the lids once. ;) Dimming is definitely better for fish, IMO, at least in this small regard.

Well that's more from them being in sleep mode and sudden light right? When I had radions I used to use the storm mode because I was a nerd and the fish literally never seemed to even notice. But it only did it during the day.

Do we have any scientific resource supporting this? :) There is a lot we don't know in this hobby and I'm always down to read such research.
Hey Boom, I don't think that everything that we see with our own eyes will need to be proven scientifically.
Try watch the fishes in that video while doing that and take your conclusions. :D
Then tell me your opinion.
There is not a single scientific resource saying that is beneficial either.
Grandis.

I watched the video. The fish don't seem to care. I've used it myself. My fish never cared. I didn't say it was beneficial. Just looking for a resource on it stressing the fish. I take it none exists then. :/

So go ahead and recommend it!
It's just opinions anyway! :p
Don't forget to put the music afterwards!!
