My Flameback Angelfish, has been continuously circling my Crossflow Wave Pump, for about four weeks now. Nothing has been added to the Tank except some Corals, that were dipped. When he sees me in the room, all is normal and is eating normally. Picks at the rock and back glass, which doesn’t get cleaned. Haven’t seen any bullying, no damage to fish. Vox Angel, Yellow Tang and Cleaner Goby are Fine. 120 Gallon Aquarium, pH is a steady 8.2. Aquarium has a Sump with a Refugium, lighted by RGB LED Flood, at night. Nothing has changed in months.

My purple tang does the same thing to my crossflow several times a day for minutes at a time, seems to just like it.

If it's eating/grazing and looks healthy, it's possible the fish is just dumb.

I unplugged the Pump, checked back in about 40 minutes and the Flameback stopped doing this. Plugged it back in and after a while, it resumed. I thinking the pump is making a noise or vibration, and is irritating the Angel. Going to soak the pump in Citric tonight.
