Hello!

So Im curious about something...my rbta has been doing something very odd the past week...It insists on hanging upside down under my shelf or on the side of a rock under my shelf. It hasnt done this before, I have repositioned the rock itself as to not disturb or damage its foot to an outward position so it can get light but with in an hour its back hiding under my shelf. Ive checked my levels are they are all good. I run LED's on auto timer and there are no predators or incompatible fish in my tank. Any idea's ?????

Have there been any sudden changes in water parameters?...sometimes it's best to just let them do there thing and find a spot they like. How long have you had the Rbta?

What do you keep your temperature at? Has this been fluctuating much? I know it can get kind of hot down there in Texas. Maybe a sudden increase in temperature is causing the anemone to be grumpy.

About a month. My ph was a little low one day so I added some ph boost so the prblm was resolved pretty quickly. Otherwise everything else has been very consistent.

I keep my temperature at 78 and my PH at 8.2.

What about changes to your lighting, any chance that it has increased and the RBTA is seeking shelter from too much light?
Perhaps....I did try moving my light towards the back of the tank so it wasnt directly over where he has been hiding. He wont even venture out under blue light or even no light.

That shouldn't have done it then. I had a similar issue with one of my Rbta when I first got into the hobby and sometimes they like to find new spots or go for walks...as long as he looks healthy and the water parameters are maintained It should be fine RBTA are pretty hearty
