strange bubbles in sump

Hi all
Hope everyone doing good

I just noticed strange bubble in my sump near skimmer section.

My water passes from bottom .so this could occur. Is it bed .

Looks like surface scum due to lack of flow trapping some bubbles. usually the display tank would have overflow dump it in your sump so you won't see it. very common on non-overflow tanks.

Looks like microbubbles from skimmer forming or fractionated foam from overflow

I did see some bubble come off the skimmer

Since the water is going underneath

It’s normal. I had the same thing in my sump at first. It eventually went away, but I helped it along by swirling the water around with my hand. It won’t hurt anything.
