Strange filter feeder in sump

I have a few pictures, but I think I’m looking at two different animals, the type on the egg crate seem to be more prolific I see several more down there.

They look the same to me.

Yeah you’re right they look the same. The one on the glass is just more developed but I see the same trunk and branch structure
