Strange growth on Octospawn

Can anyone help me Id this it seems to move around with the flow. The lights been out for a while now that’s why the octospawn is so closed up but during the day it’s completely open and healthy. It’s actually doubled it’s since I got it last month

I wouldn't worry about it. Looks like a small sponge(pest) or the coral's own tissue.
Sometimes euphilia corals can get some stress and stringy fillaments can gather forming similar formations.

Id say dip with iodine... it looks like a flatworm to me and if it is a good ol iodine dip would knock it off

I’m not sure what it was but it’s gone now and the octospawn is as happy as ever! Thank you for the help

I think it is a new bud. Some time they split from the top other time they have a small budding from the side.

It disappeared so I think it might’ve been some type of creature but it’s gone now
