Strange Growth

I have this strange growth near my mushroom in the pic. It has a kind of bluish hue to it and looks like small crystals. It is soft when I touch it. No idea what this could be.

Really hard to tell in the picture. Could be a sponge or tunicates. Any chance you can get a better pic?
