Strange ID on zoas

Hey is anyone able to ID this?

It's very odd. I went to remove part of it today. I not odd the inside of it was tube shaped. The only other observation I really have is that it did not retract when touched.

Thanks guys, remove zoas and manually remove outside of the tank?

Might not be a bad idea to remove it given the location. It could crowd out the zoas if left unchecked. That type of pale sponge has always been fairly slow growing for me, though, so I may be fine
