Strange Mandarin behavior?

Turned on my spot light tonight to see that my Mandarin covered himself in the detritus on the bottom and was sleeping in it... I thought I raised him better.

Hmm probably should have researched a little more before adding him to my BB frag tank then… Looks like i'll be building a home w/sand for him in my DT now…

Mine does the same thing. I used to think it was dying. It would have a milky coating when I would turn the lights on.
