I was cleaning my scrubber the other day and it is growing a type of green algae I have never seen. It is green, hair like, stiff and wirey, almost crystallized looking. But when you squeeze it you can feel it pop or rupture. I didnt think to take a picture but will in 2 weeks when its scrubber cleaning day. Any ideas what it might be?

I’ve had my personal one grow something similar to that. I assumed it was bubble algae and made sure to wash the screen after cleaning to prevent any spores from being introduced to the system. I think it grows that way because of the flow...
