Does anyone know what this is? Is it potentially orange coralline algae? A start of some sort of ugly stage? Flatworms? Or anything else?

I used dry rocks, a commercial "live sand", and just added this big shell my parents gifted me long ago, they got it from their Thailand trip. I did not introduce anything live yet, not even snails that might carry potential spores or something..

The dots are only on the shell. Nothing on the glass, dry rocks or sand. They don't move, and easily come of when I wiped it with a towel paper.

Before introducing the shell, I cleaned it with %3 hydrogen peroxide for a couple mins , I mainly did to clean the inside of the shell to make sure no gunk is left. Cycled the tank with a raw shrimp from the market, but it was put in a purigen bag all the time to not get the tank messy. After buying it, I froze it for a couple days, as the tank wasn't setup back then. Then I used the raw shrimp for ammonia.

I checked the images of flatworms but they dont look like them in terms of texture and visual IMO. There has nothing been introduced to the tank to have flatworms anyway? These orange spots are only on the shell.

Would love to hear opinions. I'm lost.
Thank you

it took around a month to grow actually!

I noticed the growth when I was doing a big water change as the cycle recently completed. I was getting the tank ready before adding my first fish

So it was slightly more than a month
