Strange soft growth or something else on hammer head

Hello fellows
Today I spotted a estrange soft growth in one of my Hammer corals, he have been irritated lately and I not get a clue why!
Maybe one of you guys could help me to ID this and what should do or not about it?

hi,can you be more specific ,white toward base? clumping at edge of head? is that a piece of skeleton hanging by tissue? :)
 
cool,leave it be,if when falls off retains tissue ,new hammer.;)
 
Yesterday night I think I found the reason why the Euphyllias were irritated, 2 weeks ago I repositioned a coral higher in the aquascape apparently to close to the base of a Gold leather coral. Yesterday night the leather was closed and the the coral in question was covered by a white mesh land looked awful. I moved the coral down again away from the leather and whitin hours the leather opened up. So I assume was a chemical war going on!
Just replace some carbon on my reactor and change Chemipure to help absorb toxins.
Hope all the euphyllias recover their esplendor soon!
First picture shows the position where the coral was located between at the base of the gold leather, you could see the Hammer closer to the war was the most affected

Second picture is the coral in question. Not sure what kind of coral some kind of brain with cyphastrea look alike polyps.
