Looks like a puncture wound from an injury and for safety should be treated in a separate tank using seachem kanaplex with added aeration
The fin tears combined with the body injuries indicate mechanical damage. What other fish are in with it? From this angle, it also looks really thin. What can happen is thin fish become weak and then it can’t get away from aggressors. Do you have an and divider you could use to buy some time?
We switched it from the tank it was in to a more calm tank, but it didn't make it. We tried many different things to get it to eat and it just wouldn't eat anything at all. When we original got this fish it had another copperband that we believed to be the mate to it. We think as time went on they became more sexually mature and they were not male and female. They were both male. Because of this, the other copperband bullied this one and possibly attacked it.The fin tears combined with the body injuries indicate mechanical damage.
