Hello all. I bought a soft coral a couple of weeks ago and noticed tentacle looking things from the rock. Anyone know what it is?

my LFS gave gave me grape caulerpa for my biocube 32 refugium. Lesson learned to never trust your LFS. It went sexual, and I had no idea it could do that and what that meant. It killed a fish before I realized what happened.That’s exactly what it is. Caulerpa used to be very common in the hobby. Has some real disadvantages and largely displaced by chaeto. It’s highly invasive and really hard to remove once established. I’d get rid of it post haste.
Made me chuckle actually. Ten years ago, had you posted this, folks would immediately have identified it. Probably many newer reefers have never seen it. It’s a plague .... did I mention that ....
