Set up a new 30 gallon nano. Decided to shut down my 165 due to time and work schedule. So I picked up a JBJ 30 gallon rimless nano. Its looking prettu good so far not a lot in it yet just a few corals and snails. Tanks is being controlled via an Apex. Currently using a sunpod 150Watt HQI with a 14k phoenix bulb. I think I am going to change over to LED some time before summer. I am planning on adding an MP10 and a tunze 9002 or 9004 skimmer in the near future. Well as always cements welcome.

I am torn between the radion and the AI vega. I like all my other ecotech stuff I have had and have the WXM module for the apex on this system so I am leaning towards the radion.

what's the plan for the tank? LED's should help with heat esp with the smaller tank. :)

currently I am having no heat issues surprisingly. I swapped the 150 Watt for a 250 watt 20K radium and the tank still only moves between 76 an 78 degrees during the day. I do have 2 120mm fans blowing across the water though. Now summer will probably be different that's why I plan to switch over before then.

sounds good.

well got a skimmer added went with the tunze 9004 so far it is working well and fits perfectly in the back of the tank.

decided to change the 150HQI for a 250 20k radium. Added a few SPS and wanted to make sure they had enough light.

The tank is coming along nicely!!

No modes to the skimmer at all slid right in. Although the rl30 back chamber is a little bigger than the normal JBJ cubes. It fir in this one with a good 3/4 inch to spare. It is working well I dont have a lot of fish yet just 2 small percs and 1 clown goby but it still has been pulling some junk out.

Ive read good things about that skimmer, nice buy.
The tank looks really good, looking forward to watch the progression -nice to see you putting some sps in there! Acros are the BEST!!!
