Strategy for if AC breaks in summer?

Lol! My Ac went out literally two days before this thread was made. Unfortunately tank temps went up to 88. I live in Florida and without Ac the house became a sauna. To make matters even worse I am on vacation and couldn't do anything for the tank. Luckily the Ac was back up in two days and I believe I only lost a couple corals.

Thanks for asking. I had already planned for heat failure, but not cooling. Now I have a plan B.

Evaporative cooling works great. And keeps you below ambient just make sure to have plant if ATO water because it can really take a lot. I Run a fan on a controller for my 44 in my sump to stabilize my temp. When my a.c. broke I put 2 computer fans additional and it did the job but i went through over a gallon a day in evaporation. But everything survived and the temp didn't go over 80
