New Strawberry Dottyback showing white flaking all over. Have had a couple weeks and just noticed last couple of days.
Swimming and eating normally and no other fish showing issues.
Thought velvet but not sure.
If velvet recommendations on treatment in a DT with inverts and coral, don't have QT.
Thanks

I am concerned it would be brooklynella. I do not believe that there is an effective way of treatment without hospital tank. Should be however easy to pick up at Petco etc as Black Friday special.

Velvet would rapid breathing as the first symptom. As @gentlefish said, it visually looks like Brooklynella. Two other possibilities would be severe flukes, or missing scales from being attacked by another fish.

Scraped together a HT using an old 5 gallon betta tank. Been trying to catch Dottyback for 2 days and he is having nothing to do with net or trap. He has started hiding today but seemed to be eating like normal. What medicine can be dosed in Coral and Snail DT for brook?
