Strawberry shortcake is looking a little duller than usual. Unsure if it’s bleaching. Has been in the same spot since I’ve had it. For the past 2 1/2 3 months. Has been encrusting really well the whole time.
Polyp extension is still there.

Yea definitely bleached. Phosphates might be low. If you're using Hana there is usually a margin of error +/- 0.02. I'm curious what the suggestions are for getting a coral like this one back into shape. Do you have any other SPS as high up in the tank as this SSC?

Yes. I have a frog skin acro, an unnamed milli(that’s always had polyp extension issues.) color on both of those is ok.

How about lights and flow? Do you know the par?
Po4 is borderline at 0.01,can you get it up a touch?
Lighting:

1 ai prime hd. Using BRS settings. Screen shot below.

Par on that spot is about 220. It is directly under the lens I could push the rock back. So it’s not directly under neath. I have been Looking into the diffuse shade.

I did dose 1 ml of acro power last night. I will check phosphate again on my lunch.

Flow a 240 gph bottom right behind the rock to keep detritus suspended. Red Sea max nano return pump with rfg nozzle pointing towards the front glass. And a Nero 3 pointing at the top of the rock offset a little bit. Running random mode with max 50% and min 30% and high variance.

Yes, I will.
Here is one from a few weeks ago for reference. Sorry about all the blue.

Thinking about moving the rock back some more.
Yes, maybe light shock. No, I don't think it is. All other sps seem well. No other fading? You have had this 2/3 months? Keep up the phosphate and see if it heals up in the next few days. Can you bump po4 up just a little more?
Edit: The two at the bottom of the pic, one is the strawberry? And the other looks bleached. What is that one?

This one? It’s anacropora that I just noticed now as well.

My tank has crazy high nutrients(compared to the OP!) Got this SS about 4 months ago. Initially, it started to turn brown but grew quite a bit. Finally regained colors in the last month or so.

There's not much coraline algae in the tank whats the age of the system? Is that a closed loop for u.v¿ how long do you run it¿ whats your system temp?

It’s a year old. No UV. Temp is 80. I am ordering a new heater, as it have turned it down to 76 but it won’t drop below 79.9.
