Strawberry Tree Coral

Never purchase a coral or any living organisms before making sure 1, you know what it is your actually buying and 2, if you are able to care for such animal...

otherwise all your doing iskilling something that someone else could have cared for properly and throwing away your money in the trash, quite literally.

If you're going to feed baby brine shrimp (e.g. artemia) frequently, you'll probably have to grow your own. This was the cheapest, easiest way I've seen -- all you have to do is place it a couple inches beneath a warm light:

That's a tough coral, they really need feeding frequently, a few times a day. Many lfs carry phytoplankton now, in the fridge, but be careful it does have a shelf life. Baby brine shrimp, you can hatch your own easily. It's a nps coral that takes special care and is very high maintenance. Do some more research on your own.

Yikes, you sure are climbing the difficulty ladder fast. I remember your build from a month ago when you started your 20G jumped right in with a BTA lol.

this one will be hard. Having a mature tank aside, as mentioned above, ideally you need to grow ur own if yiu want to feed live and require frequent feeding.

On the plus side, all your other coralss will love this types of feeding too.

Good luck!

First, located an area in your tank that will help it open up, they love good flow, sometimes it takes a while for them to open up, and spot feed them as often as you can, you know the cut up plastic bottle method. We have better food options today. Coral curry or something comparable, phyto feasts from Reef nutrition once in awhile. Red sea energy plus my favorite because it's a liquid thin consistency. Post some pictures in daylight when you can

Holy Debbie Downer, why not post something positive. Maybe answer the question instead of riding someone's a**.
On that note, I wouldn't have a clue how to feed the coral, but they are beautiful and I would love to get one in the future.

Once upon a time Goni was considered in the same boat as hard to impossible to keep long term .
That’s changed
That being said in a system only 20g the amount of feeding a carnation needs would trash the water
Keeping up on water changes alone would be a full time job

Here is a photo of the coral. It’s one of my favorite pieces in my tank.

it’s pretty but if you don’t see such a pretty coral common in other hobbiest tanks... there is always a reason and you should feel suspicious!

Too bad the LFS lead you wrong but you will know not to trust them now.

My thought exactly .
