I might be looking in the wrong places for the date, but when is the Stream 3 (aka 6150) going to be retailing?

Thanks!

They were initially expected in mid October, the date slipped with all of the regulatory approvals needed, we have them now and production has started but a lot of the major electrical components could not enter production until we had approvals for electrical safety and radio interference. At this time they are being made and the manual is in printing so it seems we are on track to start seeing them in a couple more weeks. Initial supply will be very limited.

Thanks!! I thought I had heard an earlier release date....so at least I wasn't imagining that. ;)

We'll be waiting!!!

I should've been more articulate. I was more asking for an updated release date than if it was available.

Got the Stream 3 I won today. Out of the box it's really nice. It is a little large for my application. I have a 120 peninsula. On the overflow side I have a sea Swirl. On the opposite side (one of the viewing panels). Is where I wanted to mount the Stream3. Unfortunately in this application it is going to block a lot of the view. I think I'm going to sell it. And go with two traditional Tunze or a Gyre. Thought I would mention it here first. I just took it out of the box and assembled it. It has not been plugged in or been wet.

I will Rev thank you! It was funny when I got home from work yesterday... I pull in my driveway which happens to be a 1/4 mile private dirt road with 5 other houses on it. I stop at the top to check the mail. Wedged in between my ma box and my neighbors is this box in a bag. I'm like what is this thing. I turn in my flashlight and check the address and I'm not expecting anything in the mail. I then notice the word Tunze. Wow, I said apparently UPS didn't feel comfortable driving down the skating rink that my driveway had become over the weekend. I'm glad here in Maine most people are trustworthy as it would have been very easy to just grab it.

Awesome pump! Looking forward to seeing how these setup in the aquarium and perform, my biggest concern is mounting options given you have to aim is sideways parallel to glass and how well the deflector works on it.

I was talking about the size. I'd want to see that sweet machine, but that's just me. I like to look at my kit.

Oh I hear you, and I do too. But folks usually don't plant a power head right in the middle of the front of their tank now do they. That's the draw back of a peninsula tank. You have to be extra creative with pumps and aquascape. Here is the panel I was hoping to mount it on.

Since it's a pump that's designed to be mounted lower in the tank I can see your dilemma now. Is the tank eurobraced? There was a guy on another site that planned on mounting one up there with an adapter he made. Looked pretty cool.
