Just to prove even experienced reefers sometimes get stumped, here’s what I have going on with my calcium reactor and why it has me scratching my head.
Aquamaxx c-tech T nano on a 65g system
90ml per minute effluent flow (it’s been stable for a few days straight, so no problem there)
6.75 reactor ph (very stable, I’m happy with this tunze reg)
ARM course media (Not sure about this stuff)
2 Co2 bubbles per second @ .5 bar per my Tunze reg’s recommendation
And the stumper... 7dkh effluent and this is after 24 hours at that ph level. My goal is 8dkh in the display.
My tank’s dkh is currently at 7.
Someone here probably has a really simple explanation and fix. I’m guessing it will be to keep lowering the ph until I see an alk increase in the effluent... Or not. Any thoughts?
