These do not appear to be raised. I am wondering if I am seeing stress spots or if it really is ich.

Do you mean the two white spots on the trailing edge of the dorsal fin? If so, that isn’t ich or a stress coloration. Hard to say what it is, can you get a clearer/closer photo?

Weird, the two spots seem to mirror each other on the left and right of the fish....if they were just on one side, I’d say this is just a minor injury, but showing up on both sides like that means they are deeper? If the fish is eating and not breathing fast, I would just watch it for now.

It eats like a champ. Actively swimming all over the tank. Is always picking at algae on the rocks.

Thank you for all your help. I didn't think it was ich but wanted to be sure.

It’s possibly ich did you Quarantine him
If it is ich, we will treat the whole tank after removing the snails and shrimp. All of the fish will need treated. We have a chromis in our QT with a bacterial infection from the others bullying it.
