So my tank has one yellow tang, pair of black snowflake crowns, mandarin and two pajama cardinals for fish. I noticed couple weeks ago that my tang and clowns had stringy poop that was not detaching from body so I’m working on pulling them fish and putting into qt and plan on treating with api general cure and copper power my question is what is this and do I need to pull all of my fish out other fish show no signs.

Also the poop is not really white at all from what I’ve read on other threads here not sure if it’s just my diet I switched to a flake food was using frozen maybe that’s why?

Far as I know, though my knowledge base is far less than all encompassing, non white stringy poop is usually caused by overfeeding.

Edit: Spelling

Tang is in qt now and it’s like a brown stringy poop it falls off eventually tho

White and stringy gets our attention. But we also look for the fish eating like crazy but the stomach is pinched in too.

What are you suggestions? I feed flake food twice a day most days

Do you think I should just keep an eye out and switch back to frozen cubes?

My pajamas do not eat nearly as much as my clowns and tang and they show no sign maybe those fish are just eating to much?
