5g EVO nano has developed some stringy uglyness the last 3-4 days. Does this look like cyano ? Some red algae? Thoughts ? It comes off easily when I blow it away with a bulb or wipe with a toothbrush.
This tank has been up for 5 months but the rock came from my other tank that was running for 3 years or so. Just did a 2g water change 3 days ago so maybe that’s a coincidence. TDS 0 on top off water. Salt water from my lfs I have used for years. This tank is pretty basic. I do not dose, lights are on for about 11 hours. Corals are happy (Duncan Is closed up today which is rare but not concerned ) I did add a little stability with water change.
