Kalkwasser is not raising my PH. I can't get my PH above 8. I'm not using 2 parts dosing, just my kalk stirrer. Would Sodium hydroxide work?

Sodium hydroxide eliminates the evaporation limitation, but raises pH per unit of alk exactly the same as kalkwasser.

Been using @Randy Holmes-Farley 's method of Sodium Hydroxide for almost a year now, the pH benefit is great
