Strontium is not increasing

I have been adding the full 9ppm for 5x as I am measuring 0 each time.. (using salifert strontium test).

Why does my strontium level not increase? Is it buffered somehow? I have been very carefull with testing, so I would say the testresults are reliable.

Apart from I am also dosing Strontium in a 1:50 ratio with Calcium.
