Struggling with corals. Advice please.

Lately it seems like it has taken longer for new tanks to be sps ready than it used to. I venture to say that it is due to the fact that 10+ years ago we used to use rock that had been cycled for years it seemed.
Not sure if this is your exact problem but I know my recent build took longer than it did years ago when I set up a tank.

I test 3 times a week. I add pics. You can see an anacropora frag losing flesh at the tips. That’s been in there since December. Basically did nothing until a few days ago now losing flesh. The candy canes were fully covered in flesh back in December and have not all split up. And the little monti was bright green a few months ago. Also an acan colony let a few heads go.

Would running Carbon as well in the meantime while figuring it out not also help?

i would cut that flesh of and hope to save the rest of the coral. looks like stn/rtn. In some case stn/rtn is caused by alk swings

Are you dosing to bring up your Alk?

My TM Pro only mixes to about 7.8 Dkh and I bring it up to 8.5 by dosing - just wondering if you're doing something similar. I'm into my tank about the same time as you. An ICP test highlighted a Sulphur and Aluminum trouble I didn't realize I had.

Yes dosing esv b ionic to keep alk at 8.4
Will have to do the test....
