hi all,

I'm struggling to get my flow right in my tank, I have a 150G tall and have a 6000lph return through to nozzles around 5000lph after bends and head loss, then I have a crossflow cp40 that gives 16500lph at 100% but it runs on natural mode which ramps randomly up and and down around 50%.

The problem is I can't seem to get my flow right as everywhere in my tank is to much flow for LPS, is it best to point everything at the surface? I have two other wavemakers but are not used, a 2000lph and 5000lph.

Here's a few pics of my tank, they are old but nothing's changed. It is quite open under the rocks which don't look like it in the photos and none of the rock is stacked against the glass, that structure to the right is like a big overhang with a large hole about 12" high 10" wide that the fish can through to the other side then round the front or back etc

I will prefer the other two at the opposite corners to make flow rotate
16500 is too much for a 48 also if you run it at 50/100 ,good for Sps but too much for lps
You can also try to point it to the glass
