I was trying to disassemble the return on this used acrylic tank I purchased to clean it but it looks like the previous owner glued the PVC together. Any ideas how to remove it?

If it's glued PVC, you're into cutting your way out of the situation. There is a trick that utilizes heat to save one side of the joined pieces, but it's not the easiest thing. Probably not worth trying to save a used bulkhead... just plan to replace.

That was the plan, I have new bulkheads and everything I need, except for an easy way to remove the pipe

Hacksaw or pvc cable saw.

Obviously a reciprocating saw is the ideal tool, but not everyone has one.

String will saw through it. Heck, dental floss if you’re stuck at home.
