I saw some little dots on my leather. It’s a toadstool leather.

(Seems like it pulls in its polyps every couple weeks and then puts me back out after a week. It’s been a couple weeks without it extending though so I was looking it over.)

I thought it was copepods running around at first but I took it out to inspect it closer and they didn’t look quite like pods.

The picture might be to terrible to tell but I thought I’d try. I touched them with my finger to see if they came off and they did. So I touched em to a paper towel.

I suspect flatworms. It's pretty hard to tell from the pic tho, do you have more? Possibly a pic in the tank?

I couldn't find any in the tank to take pictures of. I dipped the Leather in coral rx while I had it out to look it over which of course killed any I could see.

Ill keep an eye out for them. Are flatworms known to mess with soft coral like leathers? Are they like harassing my other coral as well? If that is what they are of course...

I guess I could always use some flatworm exit on the tank just to make sure. I will keep an eye on it for a while before I result to that though.
