First reaction is reach in and try pulling out any you can get a hold on.

But more info would be a huge help!
How old is your set up?
How much do you feed?
What kind of filtration do you use (mechanical and chemical and biological)?
What are your nitrate and phosphate levels?
How often and how much (percentage of the total tank) do you change?

Fair enough I usually forget to provide that info.
May 17, 2019 the tank was upgraded from a 40gal to a 75gal. Also replaced the sump during that event. It got new additional rock along with some of the old stuff and new sand.
i feed once or twice a day every 3 days or so gets an additional feeding to feed the few corals i have but mainly for the dendro(sun polyps) lovethese guys only have 4 heads at the moment.
I will run filter socks of the water gets to where you can see alot of particulate in it and then remove them when the water column is clean. I have a reef octo classic 150int, and a reef octo br-70 bio pellet reactor. Thats it at the moment. Nitrates have been at 25ppm. Ive added more pellets to try and drop that a bit. Phosphate are always super low .03 sometimes .00.
As far as water changes....i only have 4 small fish and a few frags so water doesnt get changed weekly. Maybe once a month and i change right around 30gals.

I just got done doing a water change last night and scraped the back glass off which had this layer of green goop all over it that came off in sheets. I have a feeling i will start seeing some phosphate in my tests again.

it will go away just skip feeding for a day to get your nitrates just a little lower and get a urchin. I love my urchin he can really clean the rocks off.

ive always wanted an urchin. Tuxedo or a long spine are the ones that catch my eye
