Stumped as to what these are

While carrying out some maintenance today I found hundreds of these in my sump, any ideas as to what they are ?

White ones are pineapple sponges, filter feeders, good guys. The brownish, curly ones are vermetid snails, pests, scrape em off.

Thanks, I was starting to get worried about the amount in such a short space of time. are there any fish that like to snack on these ?

Vermetids supposedly are prey for Bumblebee snails, but as everything is in this hobby depends on the individual.
