A big solo male Anthias. Great swimmers, beautiful and will gorge themselves and can be fed once a day.

They are easy to find. People try a school and give up. Then this guy get left at the aquarium store. Pink Square in my classroom reef.

I have a pair of Bimac Anthias. The male is useful because he chases around my flock of 11 chromis every so often. This helps ensure there is no aggression between the chromis who are under pressure to school for protection. I have had my chromis for 3.5 months and so far no deaths while in my main tank (some died while in quarantine). I recently added 8 chromis to the original 3 and the Bimac chased around the new ones for an entire day. I put up a mirror to distract the Bimac a bit and by the second day the chromis were all friends hanging out together.

I thought anthias are harder to keep and are best kept i. Groups and need multiple feedings

Yes you are correct! A school of them would be cool in your reef! I love my triggers, they are a lot of fun! Not sure if you have corals or not but a larger angelfish would be really colorful!

My 2 Anthais are 4 years old now and don’t require any special treatment. Twice a day feedings for everyone.
