Ive had this coral about 3 month's. It's gotten this bad somehow almost overnight, and has not gotten better in like 2 months. All other corals are going. 6 other acans are all puffed up, full polyp extension Stylo, montis, euphilia, hydnophora, cyphastrea, Davis, gorgonian and zoas are all happy. Ive read if it does die back, its tissue can regrow back over the skeleton easier than making new. Gimme some direction. 6 - 8 months into reef keeping. Right now I'm just testing and feeding and keeping the skimmer clean. Water parameters are all good. Calcium at 460, Alk is 10 and Mag stays around 1350. Been testing 3 days a week since it started and no fluctuations in dosing has been needed. Nitrates 5 phosphates .5

it looks good except for the bottom edge. if it was retracting I'd think it would be more uniform. Kinda looks like something could be eating or picking at it. Do you have any angels or peppermint shrimp? anything that could be taking bites?

Peppermint shrimp yes. But usually dont come in the area

not that they're the definite problem, but keep an eye on them...at night too. I've avoided them personally because a lot of people complain that they start eating their corals.
