Stupid basic question

So I got a diy led setup from a buddy. It had bjb solderless conjectures with speaker wire. The wire would also come loose so I pulled the wire out and went to the store to buy some wire. Now I am sitting here stripping the wire and it isn't stranded wire. Is this a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem at all.

I agree should not be a problem, LED's can run on small wire without a problem.
