stupid cleaner shrimp

my cleaner shrimp eats literally EVERYTHING i put in my tank. it eats all my fish food. jumps into my lps and picks mysis out of them. it even picks food out of my bta and takes it. it makes me so mad and i’m going to lose my mind. anyone else have this problem and what did you do to solve it

I had this problem. My solution was not buying another cleaner shrimp after he died of natural causes

Get some sinking algae pellets and drop one in before you feed the tank. Maybe it'll preoccupy the shrimp for a while. Think they sell them for freshwater plecotomus.

I wouldn’t say that. I have two fire shrimp and a coral band that are model citizens.

I had this problem with peppermint shrimp.
They killed most of my lps and rbtas.
A DIY mini speargun later... problem solved.
Wrasses had a great meal that day.

I tried to use bottle traps, fish traps, nets, etc...
I was not going to remove all of my rocks just to get them out.

You can also start hand feeding it until it is comfortable on your hand. Slowly carry it to the top of the water column and quickly scoop it with a net. They won’t see it coming if they are busy with the food.
