I have a 60 cube and I hate my scape.. I want to do a minimalist bonsai type of thing but my tank is mature and I don't want to start all over again. My idea is this take out whatever live rock I want to and put it in either a canister filter or rig up some kind of closed loop system with a bucket or garbage pail and a external pump ??? This way I don't loose any bio filtration when I redo the scape with new rock. I realize that this will be yet another thing to add to my maintenance schedule but I don't care...
Any idea and thoughts are appreciated.. also I have no room in the sump for the rock so that idea is out
