Hi Reef 2 Reef,
After trying to save money. Very stupid choice in saltwater. I decided to make a purchase from Aquarium Depot. Before I purchased from the company I did some research to see if I could find any reviews, therefore just because they were having a really good sale I decided to give a try. After e-mailing them to see the progress of my order, I came to found out they are the same company as Reef 2 Reef. A company I found to have god awful reviews. I'm not sure what to do. Should I just call them now to cancel the order? Or just let it come and see how bad of shape everything is. I bought 4 Zoa Frags, A Mushroom, Some snails & A crab for I think 70 Dollars. Also does anyone know of any reputable but cheaper online store.
I would appreciate the feedback.

Risk having to go through the trouble or and get your money back or ruin your reef tank with corals that are in terrible shape that may have parasites such as ich

Diver Den/live aquaria is good, I've also heard good things about pet solutions. I look at these like tools I buy. You get what you pay for more often than not and every time I buy the cheap one I in the end have to buy the better one when the cheap one breaks after 3 uses. If you want good healthy livestock you'll have to pay for the quality. I'd just go slower stocking good healthy stuff from reputable dealers than get a ton of headache trying to bring back sick and or dying corals and fish. It will probably cost you a lot more in the end with everything you'll be buying to combat disease and replacement when something dies.

Just my 0.02

As far as the original post goes. I think it will be pretty difficult to get any satisfaction out of a company who uses such business practices. Someone once told me that nice stuff is expensive. But crappy stuff can cost even more in the long run... I hope it all works out for you!

Vivid Aquariums any good? Cultivated Reef? Frag box? Planet Zoa? Are the sponsered sites like Cherry Corals good too?

I can say cherry is awesome and if you can wait a little you can do a live sale with them and save some money

I have purchased from the company before and they were good they have good prices also. The company itself is good and shipping is good too, but it is the produce you buy whether it is good or not. I have called them to ask them questions about my product and they were very helpful.

My friend just did the same and bought tons of inverts and his shipment took a week to get to him and when he open the box the smell of death filled his home. So in all in all everything was dead and he's working on getting the money back. No good

I bought from them couple of time back when they were Reef2go. I still have few zoa and blue ricordia from them which survived through all downfall of my tank and still going strong. But I will say never get pods from them because they are just bad. Also when you receive your snails check them before you put them into your tank. Vivid and cherry coral both are good but I personally like may other prefer World wide coral and AquaSD.

Happy reefing.:)

cultivated reef is awesome, holly and her husband are top notch . very good customer service and running a nice special now

Cultivated Reef is good! The guy lives up here in Maine, Orono to be exact. He sells quality healthy live stock, and great customer service at least a number of years ago when I ordered from him. If I recall correctly the frags I got we bigger than expected.

Canceling the Order it is. I rather just spend 170 Dollars for the same amount of stuff just to know that I will have some reassurance of them being healthy etc. I am a big stickler for the saying "You pay for what you get". Don't know what I was thinking.

Blue zoo is same they answer the phone every time and service is awesome over 140 and free over night at your door by 1030 am fed ex.plus same 14 day guarantee.
