So the past few days I’ve been adding a small amount of water to sump to slowly raise my salinity. Today, I was being careless and accidentally poured the water into my return pump section which kicked up a patch of detritus sending it into my tank. The tank was a little cloudy at first but seems to be clearing in about 20 minutes. Should I be worried? I hope nothing bad comes from this.

I wouldn't worry, your corals will like the extra food. But you may want to blow off any detritus that settled on your rocks later

All good. next time you do a water change, siphon will recapture it.
"HAPPY DETRIOUS DAY !!! " ;)
