Stupid question - Do fish get bored in home aquaria?

Yes and no.

My Oscar did look board most of the time, but his (vanishing) Goldfish friends never did. I’d say they mostly looked “concerned” or maybe anxious. What’s up with that?

I place a one foot square mirror against the glass. My chevron tang spends much time sparring in front of it. I place it there 2 or 3 days a month.
