yea im totally kidding, but technically its safe right, St patties day = green rivers and marine biologists @ the aquarium here say it causes no harm to the wild life. Still wouldnt want an accidental perma-algae look. you may wake up with a shaved head ahahahah

food coloring would prolly be safe but that is the last thing we need have corals uptaking and depositing food coloring in their skeletons or worse their living tissue. be like the dye'd anemones of times past... HA!

ColoredAnemones

So you actually had that argument with someone? They would have moved out on me cause they would have gotten tired of my laughing at them everytime I saw them....that's to funny.....

For the record, No.. I didn't steal the stupid starfish leg!!! Something ate it!!!

I think it was timing... no one here is happy in the morning. Actually, before coffee this household is like the beginning of saving private ryan.

"something ate it", right. Your harlequin perhaps? Hmmmm... Good thing you guys don't have a pet crocodile.

Kooool a pair of Harlequins i breed shrimp peppermint and scarlet right now but how kool would that be breeding Harlequins!

Um, I think I am confused, and lost too. Is this a thread about cutting off starfish appendages as food for someone else s shrimps in their tank!? Cause my roommate does this...I KNOW he does it. cause they come up missing and he has one of those shrimps...you know. Says they are just decaying...right

It's a thread about stupid arguments only reef keepers would be having.

i.e. False accusations, misunderstandings and what not.

FOR THE RECORD...... and for those who are wondering, to end ALL confusion that may have hitch hiked onto the brains of people reading this thread...

Starfish was being eaten by something else in the tank... a fresh cut leg would be just that, a fresh cut leg. Starfish was 100% being eaten by something Non-Harlequin.

Oh, and hhahahahahahahhaa...

I cant believe I just read 3 pages, but is late what else will I be doing!!! ummm

Do you mean it is "late", as in like your wife is expecting? or are you talking about that starfish arm again. cause I've got one...ya, right here. A big chocolate chippy too
