Stupid Xenia Keeps Falling Off

So, I got a small piece of Xenia and I super glued it to a rock and it keeps falling off. It lasts maybe a day and then I come out to look at my tank and its rolling around in the sand. Does anyone have any advice how to secure a piece of Xenia so this doesn't happen?

Xenia like to move around. They’ll attach their stalk to the sides of rock. They’ll come off of plugs and reattach themselves somewhere else. You can rubber band the stalk down or you can stick a toothpick through the bottom and try glueing and removing later.

Rubberband it to rock or put it in a bowl with rubble rocks in lower flow.

Lash it down with fishing line. It will attach, and grow right through the fishing line in a week or two.

Do your rocks have crevices? I have a dead piece of coral that has a fold and stuck my Xenia frag in it and it spread like wildfire
