Stylophora encrusting?

Hi all, I was under the assumption that stylophora wasn’t an en encrusting coral but mine looks like it’s has grown over the epoxy?

It’s growing out to form a solid base to support the vertical growth that will follow. Perfectly normal for sps.

 

[Reefing Reefer]

Difficult to see with the blue light, but my purple stylo is encrusting and branching as well, pretty cool look.
