Wondering if anyone has recommendations for a high flow submersible power head?

Tank is a tall cube, 72" tall x 48 "x 48"
Large Aquarium 400+ gallons

Acrylic is 1.5" thick, so anything with a magnet wont work.

Looking for suggestions on equipment, and adhering to the tank. Figured I would just hide in rock work, though a wave maker up top might be nice.

I own two 1.5 inch tanks…
Works (or has strong magnets)
Neptune WAV
Red Sea Reefwav 45(1st pic is on a 750 XXL) .recommend!

Doesn’t work
Nero 5
Any Tunze I’ve tried (can’t recall model)
Reefwav 25 (2nd pic is on a 900xxl and it isn’t holding well)

btw, I do like the Reefwav by Redsea….reliable w/minimal cleaning

@Doctorgori just to clarify, you moved the Reefwav from your 750xxl to a 1.5" thick tank? I'm looking at getting these, but it quotes max 3/4", whereas the Neptune quotes 1". Either way, I'm 1/2 - 3/4" short, per manufacturer specs.

I think the larger Reefwav 45 work better because the surface area of the magnet is just larger, I don’t believe it’s actually any stronger per se than the smaller Reefwav 25’s…..Besides I actually have those 45’s on the internal overflow box in the 750XXl (which is how Red Sea advises to mount them) …. I’m now thinking the overflow box might be thinner glass …

I did have those Neptune WAV mounted on both a Peninsula 650 and this 900XXL …they stick, no doubt about that

Roger that, I'm going to see if I can augment with a 3rd party stronger magnet on the dry side. Just ordered this bad boy from K&J Magnetics

Update:

That magnet didn't work on 1.5" acrylic. I could feel slight pull, but it slid down the glass...getting this one....NOTE these things are scary to handle.

The one I was using sucked on to one screw in my attic decking, required a serious pull to get it off...Be careful!
