Submersible Pump for mixing saltwater.

Looking for advice on what sized pump I should get for mixing salt water in a 40 gallon brute trash can. The one I have used for a year took a dump recently, i don’t remember the size but it was way too powerful and it mad it a pain in the butt to pump from the can tonthe DT, stirred up everything. I have been using two power heads lately but it takes way too long. I mix about 8-20 gallons at a time. Curious to know what everyone else is using.

I do too and it just takes forever lol. Also looking for a pump to transfer water from the can to the DT. Just curious what everyone is using.

Honestly I’d have to look. I don’t remember but it works great. Done in just a few minutes

I use a Jebao DCP-10000. Mixes in the brute can and can pump to my tank which is about 30-35' away and up about 6'.

Lifeguard Quiet One Pro is what I have for mixing. I drop it in the brute can for 30 minutes. They come in all sizes so you can match what you need for water change head height and run length. If you’re pumping same room and 4 foot head height should go with a 2200 (594gph).
