Hello.
We just upgraded from a 26 to a 50 AIO.
I purchased a Sicce 1.5 and I think my pump is too strong. We have turned it almost all the way down and it seems to be draining my back filter over the course of several days. My husband seems to feel that I need to order a smaller size pump.
Can anyone tell me should I order the nano or the 1.0? I am a little confused on which is best for my setup. Thanks for the help!

The 1.5 should work perfectly for 50 gallon, I have a sicce 1.0 on a 35 gallon and I wish i could turn it up in power.

It looks like you dont have an ATO, if you dont thats why you are loosing the water in the back

It is amazing how much evaporates from our tanks. My 32 gallon biocube with a closed lid evaps a pint a day. Without a top it would be much more. So what I am saying is your pump is fine long as your tank isn't splashing overboard! Replace evap with rodi water.

Thank you so much. The more I researched I couldn’t imagine that it was the pump.
I definitely will look into getting an ATO.
