Sorry for my stupid question
You will place the warm in that refug whit all that soft corals?

Forgive the expression, but those are all trash corals. Ones that will not stop growing no matter what I do and I cannot even give away. Rather than toss them I throw them in the refugium and let them do their thing. This is where I do not want him to get.

Honestly I have never tried. However I would imagine the only way is to locate its Lair and take apart the rock work to get it. I certainly would not want to be messing around with this thing. And if you catch it please do not kill it. I'm sure someone would like it and I absolutely hate to see any creature get killed for nothing. If you cannot find anybody who wants it and you are even remotely near a coast throw it in the ocean. At least it will have a better chance
Any advice catching one out of the display?

I am very slightly concerned. However unless he gets through the grating in my overflow box after traveling against the current up the pipes for four feet. Or if he makes it through the guarded drain in the refugium through the sump through the sponge that separates the middle of the sump and through the pump that pushes the water back up without being sliced to pieces. I am comfortably optimistic he will not be a problem unless somehow it spawns
Is there any way he could get to the DT through the plumbing? I'd be a little concerned about that...

I don't think anybody would in a display tank with coral. They are usually acquired on accident with live rock. However my refugium display should be sufficiently separated from the rest of my system. And I like really creepy things. LOL
Yea I don't understand why anyone would want to literally place one in a dt..
