Hello!

I’m curious about successful sps dominated reef tanks using exclusively TM All-for-Reef. I see many people using and having the benefit of maintaining alkalinity, calcium and elements using just one dosing pump.

Please post photos!

Been on the AFR train for almost 2 years. Tank was stuffed with acros and AFR handled if fine I was dosing about 38 ml a day. Now that the acros took a back seat to LPS I am dosing about 28 ml a day. It has my tank on cruse control essentially

What size tank for that dosage?
Very nice im running a mix reef and coming in at around 1ml/10 gallons to manage 1dkh/day usage in an 80 gallon. Super easy to use and numbers are locked in solid.

Tank total is 68 gallons give or take. All I got to say is thank god for the powdered version. The liquid only option was killing me

A magnetic stirrer, nice graduated beaker and powdered version are the way to go!

Zack's tank over at BRS (you see it in a lot of their videos) is SPS dominated and running AFR. Lou says he uses that tank kind of as a "test" because Zack is way past their daily dosing recommendations.

With that said, I tried AFR on my LPS tank and hate it. I've got loads of the DIY stuff still available. My numbers were all over the place and to keep alkalinity locked at 8.5dkh pushed calcium well past 500 and still climbing. I backed off my dosage to see what happens. I'm selling the tank off soon enough though so I'll never see what fully happens.

2 part, Tropic Marin Part C, and Moonshiners is the best success I've ever had with a tank. My main tank has been rock solid for over a year on Reef Moonshiners. I much prefer the control I have this way.

Same here. Powdered version. I heat my water up to a boil and let sit for 5 or so minutes. Mixes up with powder super clean and fast without any particulates or discoloration in bottle. For me Its perfect for what I need.
Can see it getting pricey for super heavily populated sps reef at super high dosing though.

Once I stabilized my magnesium(by intentionally overdosing it) all my numbers seemed to lock in. If switching from other dosing regiment i can see A4R taking a bit to build up and start working. I reccomend anyone doing A4R to make sure you keep all numbers locked in using old method while A4R settles into system and starts working properly.
In a new tank transfer it almost works too well with all params locked in to new saltwater params to begin with.
