Man it really sucks when you lose a colony you have grown from a frag as one of your first sps pieces. For me that was a green montipora. Yes I know that is not super exciting, but for me montipora have always been a dream coral as I loved the way they grew. It went from my 55gallon reef which it outgrew and was then placed in multiple spots in my 180 reef due to it growing so big. i have had it have massive die off before a couple months ago losing about half the colony but I was able to keep it growing still but in the end the nudis ended up winning and made me have to cut up the colony. I will post pics of it later on in its days before I cut it up
. But now I have more space for more coral/swimming space haha but really does suck. This coral was I believe 13in or so. But fortunatly right above it I had a red plate that is really the spotlight now.
