Just got my Mag 7 pump from DFS. Opened the box, the thing has a nice flat base but no rubber tips or suction cups so I can set it into my sump tank! I called DFS and they determined that you don't get either in the box. If you look at the bottom, there are 4 nice little plastic nubs just waiting for rubber tips of some type. (Every other pond pump I ever bought had suction cups in the box).

I guess they leave out this crucial equipment now as a cost cutting measure.

Next, I emailed Danner company, the manufacturer, asking if I could order some suction cups. Their answer: "You purchase suction cups in any aquarium shop. We don't supply them."

I've never seen such in my LFS. Any idea where to find them?

That's too bad.. Hopefully someone around here can help you out!!

Most LFS i've been too sell suction cups, usually packaged by Lees.

Another option is if you have any airline tubing laying around, just stick it thru the hole, tie off and cut it.
